Dr. Dorris, originally from Sacramento, California, received a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Liberal Studies from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, in 1984. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1989 from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.
Dr. Dorris continued his medical and surgical training at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, completing a three-year residency in 1991. Dr. Dorris has acquired ability to treat all adult and pediatric foot and ankle pathologies.
Dr. Dorris is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the Missouri Podiatric Medical Association, the Western Missouri Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and an Associate of the American College of Foot Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Dorris’ hospital associations include St. Joseph Medical Center of Kansas City and Menorah Medical Center of Overland Park.
Dr. Dorris and his wife Kathleen live in Kansas City with their daughter Leah and enjoys baseball, biking and most anything involving outdoor sports.
