A Personal Note:
I have been in private practice for more than thirty years and still wake up in the morning excited about going to work.  I truly enjoy my patients and the challenge in improving their quality of life.  I have seen many changes in the quality of medical care as well as the delivery; however I continue to provide the most up to date treatment options in a pleasant and caring office atmosphere.  I also don’t believe that everything can be cured by surgery but I continue to offer specialized surgical care for conditions that require these skills.  My personal philosophy continues to be that success in medicine is happy, healthy and productive patients.  My hobbies include reading, travel, gardening but my true love is fishing. I live by the Fisherman’s Prayer:

God grant that I may live to fish, until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray,
When in the Lord’s safe landing net, I am peacefully asleep,
That in his mercy I be judged, As big enough to keep.
